Bike slowly →
neswasfunohbtwthisisphil:
As a general rule, the propensity of non-bicyclists to give biking a try is inversely proportional to the average velocity of the bikers they see on the street. If you live in a city where women in wedge heels are steering their old steel bikes around their daily errand route, there’s really nothing intimidating or scary about the prospect of getting on a bike...

STAGE 18

Garrett and Rainier spotted running today’s stage of the Tour!
That’s one of the guys I met at the store in SF.
georgedelta asked: haha! Well, I'm pro-brake. It's safer to have one (you never know when your lockring will get loose or your chain will break etc) and more eco-friendly since you dont wear out your rear tyre that fast.
Also I like to sprint and if you have a front brake you dont have any limits.. Since you know you can stop whenever you want, compared to just footjaming and then...

Photos over the years.
This guy’s photography is better than 95% of the crap on tumblr so take a look at it and hopefully some of his greatness will rub off onto you.
Honestly, I wish he could just take photos of me all day because I’d look like the artsiest motherfucker on the planet with him behind the lens.
why is shipping bikes so damn expensive?
seriously ridiculous. $200+ to get it from oahu to nyc. fking stupid.

Met Rainier today at the Mash Transit store in SF. Was a chill dude. He rides a road bike now, but doesn’t everyone?
Looking at beautiful images on the internet...
It should make you want to go out and do something. And there’s no excuse for not being able to go outside your front door and jogging or even walking around your neighborhood. So see everything and stop being so damn satisfied.

I thought I saw everything there was to see on...
and to an extent, I did. But there are countless things that I’ve yet to see and im not just talking wilderness, which there is plenty of and I don’t care for, but other adventures to be had. I haven’t even been to the north shore more than a few times. I want to bike from the north shore to my front doorstep! I was so cramped up in my room playing games, blogging about how much...
Does anyone else feel like all of the fat wizards...

Why?
I don’t doubt that it will go through some improvements and renovations, but right now it’s garbage.

Why are people pretending it’s better than Facebook?
On my old Windows XP desktop
Taking back my laptop to get it repaired because there’s this faulty wire that keeps bugging out making my screen go black and creating all of these red lines when it does work.
My music collection is still pretty damn awesome even though I haven’t touched this since early ‘09. Bunch of Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, TV on the Radio, and other entry-level indie bands. Woot...
i think i found my next internship to apply to.
I had a dream about Google+
Seriously, I remember updating a social networking site’s profile and it looked exactly like this in one of my dreams and it had circles. This was probably a year ago.
there’s a difference between wanting to ride some “custom-colored” fixie and giving a crap about bikes.

This is Mr. Huynh’s story about his lost daughter he had to give up while living in the Vietnam War. There is no humor, no laughter when he describes what he had to go through, almost as if the person who played Mr. Huynh went through the same thing.
Take a moment and watch this Hey Arnold clip, and think about the cartoons you...
